5.2 Adjusting the ferrule cross section

The adjustment wheel on the ferrule feed rail can only be
adjusted if the vibrating conveyor bowl has been rotated
beforehand to the extent that the ferrule infeed is open.

► Loosen fixing screws ( 1 ) of the vibrating conveyor bowl.
► Rotate the vibrating conveyor bowl in an anti-clockwise
direction so that the ferrule infeed is open.
► Raise the adjustment wheel ( 2 ) slightly, rotate it to the
required value and let it latch back in.
► Rotate the vibrating conveyor bowl backwards up to the
stop.
► Re-apply the fixing screws ( 1 ).
5.3 Setting the stripping length (only LS)
A letter is assigned to each wire-end ferrule:
16 mm = A 14 mm = B 12 mm = C
► Check whether the applicable letter (A, B or C) is set to
the following four components:
1. Ferrule stop (figure 3.2,
3
)
2. Release device (figure 3.2, 12 )
3. Wire-insertion unit (figure 3.2, 10 )
4. Opening wedge (figure 3.2, 1 )

► Turn the adjusting wheel with the Allen key (5 mm) so
that the required value is underneath.
