Water cleanliness
CAUTION:
•
Contaminated water can cause illnesses.
Please contact your local swimming pool supply shop or check regulations to ensure the safe and ef
•
fective use of chlorine, shock disinfection, algae destroyer and other similar chemicals.
A filter pump is intended to remove dirt and other small particles from the water. To guarantee that the
•
water in your pool stays crystal clear, free from algae and protected against hazardous bacteria, it is
imperative to regularly use chemical water treatments.
To prevent skin and eye irritations or even injuries, never add chemicals to the water when people are
•
still using the pool. Never put chemicals or other substance in your pool if you cannot determine the
exact quantity or the type of substance to be added to the water.
The pH value and the chlorine concentration must be tested on a regular basis. Test kits and instructions
•
are available from your local swimming pool supply shop.
Damage to the pool
Never sit on the inflatable edge.
•
Never lean against the wall of the pool.
•
Never drag the pool across the ground.
•
Only set up the pool on a solid and level surface. Incorrectly setup pools can be easily damaged.
•
Note that an organic surface (e.g. grass) under the pool will suffer dramatic effects due to a lack of
•
light and the pressure.
If you live in an area where the pool cannot be used throughout the year, it is recommended to take
•
down the pool and store it in a dry place when not in use. This increases the service life of your pool and
reduces the risk of potential damage (also see “7. Disassembly, Cleaning and Storage”).
Only add the recommended water treatment substances and quantities to the pool water. Incorrect
•
substances or quantities can be hazardous for pool users, the actual pool and the filter pump.
Never put sand or other materials into the pool.
•
Cleaning
Never use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents. These agents could, e.g., damage surfaces or seals.
•
Never climb or jump into the pool from higher objects or surfaces. Always use the supplied pool lad
•
der.
