7. Do not divert the cable from its intended use
• Do not carry the device by holding it from the cable and do not use the cable to unplug the device.
Protect the cable from heat, oil and square edges.
8. Secure the work piece
• Use clamping devices or a bench vice to fix the work piece. This fixes the work piece and makes it
possible to hold the work piece with both hands while operating the machine.
9. Do not overexpand your area of standing
• Avoid abnormal posture. Make sure you have a safe position and keep your balance.
10. Take care of your tools
• Regularly check plug and cable. In case of damages let an expert replace them. Regularly check the
extension cable and replace damaged cables. Keep the hand grips dry and free from oil and grease.
11. Disconnect the power plug
• When not using the device, before maintenance, cleaning or repairs.
12. Avoid not intended start-up
• Make sure that the mains switch is switched off when connecting to electricity.
13. Extension cable in outdoor usage
• When working outdoor use only respectively marked extension cables. It is absolutely important to take
care of the correct wire cross section.
14. Test your device for damages
• Before using the tool test protection device or parts that can be damaged for their proper and correct
function. Check the function of movable parts that these parts do not lock and are not damaged. All
parts have to be mounted correctly and fulfil all conditions to grand a proper operation of the device.
Damaged safety devices and parts have to be repaired or exchanged properly by a service station as
long not mentioned differently in the operating manual. Damaged switches have to be replaced with a
service station. Do not use tools where the switch cannot be switched off and on.
15. Repairs have to be conducted by electrical technicians only
• This tool conforms to the respective safety regulations; repairs may only be conducted by an electrical
technician, otherwise this may lead to accidents.
