Webasto shall not assume liability for defects or damage that are
the result of the installation and operating instructions being disre-
garded.
This liability exclusion particularly applies for:

Installation by untrained personnel

Improper use
■
Repairs not carried out by a Webasto service workshop
■
Use of non-original spare parts
■
Conversion of the unit without permission from Webasto
2 Safety
2.1 Intended use
The RS 2500 is an electrically operated marine shading system for
comfort purposes. The RS 2500 is designed for use on motor - and
sailing yachts.
2.2 Safety information
When closing the RS 2500, make
sure to keep all body parts and/or
obstructions away from the opening
to prevent injury!
Do not stand or walk on the
RS 2500.
ATTENTION
Possible damage due to weather conditions and/
or speed

Close the RS 2500 at:
■
Speeds of above 40 kts.
■
A sea state of more than 1 m.
■
At wind speeds of more than 16 kts (4 Bf).
