Set transmission data rate to 38400 Baud.
Configure the bits of the input port as follows: 8/N/1. If you have AIS
targets around, you will see the following data on your screen

in the HyperTerminals window.
If there are no AIS data around, while swtiching on we do send also
some control data out of the interface port. In the moment you are
switching on the easyAIS-IS, data are transmitted through the port and
you should see some data stream on your display too. This means the
data connection is correct.
