4.4.5  Fuses and On/Off Switch

The AERCO Boiler Valve controller uses two standard Buss cylindrical fuses (see  Section  4),
each rated at 2 Amperes. These fuses are found at the extreme right of the upper electronics
module set. Their holders are labeled FS1 and FS2. See Figure 10 below. Tabs at the bottom of
the fuse housing unit’s top plates can be snapped up to expose the fuse holders. Make sure the
fuses are in place and are of good electrical integrity (i.e., “not blown”).

In addition to FS1 and FS2, Models 64097 and 64098 also use fuses for the 24VAC
transformer.  Fuses FS3 (primary side of transformer) and FS4 (secondary side) are located at
the  lower right-hand corner of the panel (see Figure 11).   There are two FS3 fuses (250VAC,
Time-Delay, 3 Amp) and one FS4 fuse (250VAC, Time-Delay, 10 Amp).

A single pole –  single throw On/Off circuit breaker is found at the left side of the upper
electronics module set. See Figure 10 below. Make sure this switch is in the “ON” position.
