9. Carefully route the column-stabilizer-inlet tubing through the groove on
the side of the tray.
10. Insert the Phillips screws into the threaded holes and tighten them
gently using the Phillips screwdriver.
11. Route the column-stabilizer-inlet tubing through the cutout in the top of
the sample manager door to the injector.
Requirement:
Do not route the tubing behind the sample manager door
hinge.
12. Remove the O-ring retainer from the inlet end of the column-stabilizer
inlet-tubing, and then connect the inlet tubing to injector port 6 of the
sample manager injector.
Installing the optional in-line filter
To protect the analytical column and other system components from a build
up of particulate matter, install a 0.2-
m in-line filter. This will improve
column life and minimize system downtime.
Caution:
To avoid stripping the threads, do not overtighten
screws.
