To calculate the Permeate flow using the Temperature Correction Chart.
Use the Nominal Membrane Flow Rate, (RSXII Lite = 800 gpd*) divided by the Temperature
Correction Factor for your raw water temperature.
Example:
An RSXII Lite has 2 membranes each nominally rated at 400 gpd and the raw water temperature is
9.0 degrees Celsius.
(2x400) / 2 = 350 gpd Temperature Corrected.
Of course the actual production of your system will also depend on the raw water quality being
supplied to the RSX unit.
(*) – Based on feed water at 500ppm NaCl, 7.5 pH, 25 degree Celsius water and a 15%
recovery rate. Permeate production can vary +/- 15% from factory.
