Calibrate Water Hero*

Select a container of a known
volume (e.g. milk jug, water bottle)
•
Ensure that no water is being used
beyond the meter
•
Press start and begin filling the
container selected above with a
fully open faucet
•
As the water level reaches the
target, decrease the flow so that
you can stop it precisely when your target quantity
is reached
•
Input the quantity of water added to the container
in the “actual gallons field” and press Recalibrate
* Suggested for buildings where it can be ensured that no other water flowing
(e.g. single family home) In other cases, alternate approach is on P. 23
