Wiring to 16 Keypad Push Button Station
This section will describe how to wire the integration box your ICS 16 Keypad Push Button Station
Step 3.1.
Run cables from your ICS 16 Button Keypad to the washify integration enclosure.
Insert the cables into the last fitting, following the same method of ethernet and power.
(Recap: Remove cap from fitting, insert cables through the fitting cap, then through the fitting inside
the enclosure. Leave enough slack to work comfortably. Tighten the cap over the fitting to seal the
cable/wires in place.)
Recommended wire size is
20AWG
, bigger wires may not fit into the adapter on the ICS Keypad side.
11 wires in total will be needed
to completely integrate. The best method is to source a 12-wire
conductor 20AWG shielded Belden cable from a local supplier or online. Shielded cabling is highly
recommended as any type of EMI could trigger false positives on the keypad if the signal cabling is
run near 120VAC. If you use a shielded cable. Ground one end on the ground terminal of the
Washify relay Enclosure.
The following diagrams should be reviewed carefully; all power should be off to the ICS 16 button
Keypad and to the ICS Controller while running and connecting the cables. After connecting all
cables. Double check each connection, A wire in an incorrect position could short circuit the ICS
Keypad rendering it inoperable.
Run the Integration cabling between the ICS 16 button keypad and the Washify integration box.
