1.2 Transport of exhaust valve

Use suspension device 94265 (Fig. ’D’) or RUD-eye bolt ’RC’ (Fig. ’E’) to pull
the complete exhaust valve out of the cylinder cover and for transport.
1.3 Laying down the exhaust valve
⇒
If the exhaust valve should be laid down, first
put it in valve protector 94262, then fix it by
clamping it with three straps 13 and the cor-
responding screws.
Remark: Never place the exhaust valve on its
spindle.
Every turn of valve spindle 6 with regard to valve
seat 14 may cause scratches on the joint faces!
