USING THE SOUS VIDE DEVICE
Attach the sous vide device
Select a proper water container with a minimal depth of 15 centimetre. Place the water container on
a stable, horizontal surface where it can’t fall off, not even when somebody passes by. Place the device
in the container and attach it firmly with the spring clamp to one of the sites of the container. Check
that the power cord is long enough to reach a power socket, but do not yet plug in the device.
Fill the water container
Fill the water container with cold water but take care that the water level never passes the Max
indicator on the sous vide device. Note that the water level will raise when you add your bags with
food. You may have to carefully shake the device if there are indications that there is air in the device

The water container is properly filled when the water level is above the Min indicator and below the
Max indicator with your food bags being placed.

MAX indicator; the water level should never exceed this indicator
MIN indicator; the water level should never be below this indicator
Note: If during use the water vaporises and the water level drops below the MIN indicator, then the
device will switch off and it must be unplugged before it can be used again.

Air in the sous vide device may cause a dry-running pump. This is noticeable by a high-spinning sound. If this
continues for a longer time then this may cause damage to the pump.
