IV. Rear Receiver Installation
1.
Begin by raising the dump box and locking into
position as shown in figure 1.

Place the rear receiver (A3) into position on the
Mule as shown in figure 2.

Attach the rear receiver tube assembly to the
cross tube on the Mule using two 5/16-18 u-bolts
(B2), 5/16 flat washers (B4), and 5/16-18 locking
hex nuts (B3) as shown in figure 3. Tighten the
bolts to a recommended torque of 10-12 ft-lb
(16 N-m).

Attach the rear receiver tube assembly to the two
side frame rales using the rear receiver brackets
(A4). The two brackets will attach to the tube
assembly using two 5/16-18 x 1 hex bolts (B5),
flat washers (B4), and locking hex nuts (B) shown
in figure 4. Tighten the bolts to a recommended
torque of 10-12 ft-lb (16 N-m).

Using the two side brackets (A4) as clamps.
Clamp them to the side frame rails using two
5/16-18 x 2 1/2 hex bolts (B1), 5/16 flat washers
(B4), and 5/16-18 locking hex nuts (B3) as shown
in figure 4. NOTE: If this unit is being installed on
a Desiel Mule only one of the 5/16-18 x 2 1/2 hex
bolt will be used in the bottom hole of each side
bracket.Tighten the bolts to a recommended
torque of 10-12 ft-lb (16 N-m).
Rear receiver mounting is now complete move to
section VI, entitled “Maintenance/Care”.
