DRILL THROUGH ONLY THE SKIDPLATE AND
NOTHING ELSE.  DRILLING THROUGH ANY
COMPONENT ON THE ATV OTHER THAN THE
SKIDPLATE CAN SEVERELY DAMAGE THE
VEHICLE WHICH CAN ULTIMATELY LEAD TO
OPERATOR INJURY OR DEATH.

III. INSTALLATION

1.

  Remove the two bolts, located just behind the front

wheels, that hold the skidplate to the chassis as shown
in Figure 3.

2.

  Place the Plow Mount (A1) under the vehicle

aligning the rear tabs to the holes of the bolts that were
removed in Step 1.

3.

  Attach a 6mm dia-18mm long bolt (B1), 1/4” flat

washer (C2), and 1/4” lock washer (C3) through the
rear tabs in the Plow Mount (A1) and into the vehicle
chassis as shown in Figure 4.  

Do not tighten the

fasteners just yet

, you will do this later in the installa-

tion.

4.

  With the Plow Mount (A1) flush against the

skidplate, drill  four holes in the plow mount and up
through the skidplate as shown in Figure 5.  Be sure to
make note of which holes should be drilled per the
model that you own.  On the left-hand side, automatic
models will mount to the rear and center hole, while
foot-shift models will mount to the center and forward
hole.  Proceed slowly and only drill through the
skidplate.
