Electrotechnical tests must
be performed in
accordance with the
provisions of the Accident
Prevention Regulations
(VBG4) and to DIN VDE
0701 Part 1 and Part 3. In
accordance with DIN VDE
0702, these tests must be
performed at regular
intervals and after repair
or modification.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause
Remedy
• Reset the fuse
> Overload protection
switch has tripped
> Fuse of mains plug
socket has blown
‡ Motor does not start
‡ Reduced suction
power
> Bag-type filter full
> Suction hose clogged
• Clean suction hose
• Allow the cleaner to
cool down for approx.
5 minutes, then switch
off and switch on
again.
• Replace bag-type filter
> Filter element clogged
• Clean or replace filter
element
‡ No suction power
during wet cleaning
> Tank full (float switch
closing off the suction
opening)
• Empty tank
TESTS AND APPROVALS
Electrotechnically tested
according to test
methods/principles:
DIN VDE 0700 Part 1
(= DIN 60335-1)
DIN VDE 0700 Teil 205
DIN EN 60335-2-69.
As a result of these tests,
suitable for higher load
for commercial
application.
• Push on a new filter
element.
• Fit the filter retaining
washer and tighten the
retaining nut.
• Dispose of the used
filter element in
accordance with the
local waste disposal
regulations.
