15.2.1 Optional settings

Default: 0
If this switch is activated, an 00H is appended to the serially
received character 0DH: in other words, 0DH 00H is sent
over the network. This option may have to be activated for
sending binary files.
Once you have entered all the parameters in the Com-Server
port menu, press the ENTER key several times to return to the
main menu and save the entries with
SAVE Setup
. The message
Saving...
appears, then the FDP client mode is activated. The
entry
FTP-Client
now appears in the
SETUP Port x

Connection State
menu. The current status of the connection
can be read in this menu at any time.
