8 Warranty terms
Weldi Oy gives a warranty for the products it manufactures and represents,
which includes damage caused by the raw material or manufacturing error to the product itself. Indirect damage is not covered by the
warranty. Machine warranty is 1 year. By registration at Weldi webshop
, warranty is 3 years. Warranty is valid within the
European Union. Warranty does not include wearing parts such as electrode holders, earth clamps, contact tips or other wearing parts.
Under warranty, a damaged part is replaced or, the damaged part is repaired free of charge. The warranty period is stated on the warranty
certificateon the front page. The warranty requires the machine to be operated in single-shift operation. Damage caused by inappropriate
or carelessness is not covered by the warranty(wrong use, overload, carelessness or natural wear and tear.)
Any overtime, travel, freight or other costs that may result from the warranted item will not be covered under the warranty. Freight costs
related to sending machines from and to private customer to service or repair under warranty will be paid by Weldi Oy, and method of
transport will be chosen and ordered by Weldi Oy. Warranty repairs must be carried out by a Weldi Oy authorized warranty service
company. The machine must be presented when requesting warranty repair. Warranty certificate or purchasing receipt must also be
presented when warranty is claimed by customer.
9 USE WITH GENERATOR POWER SUPPLY
Using plasma cutting inverters with generator power supply may damage both the generator and the inverter. The generator to be used
must be sufficiently efficient and equipped with electronic voltage control. We recommend a generator of at least 10 kVA with electronic
voltage control. Values are approximate and we recommend using a larger generator. Machine is protected against ±15% voltage
fluctuations. Severe changes in the frequency of the alternating current of the generator or extremely violent voltage drop or surge may
damage the machine despite the protection system.
