General instructions for checking and refilling engine
oil and petrol
WARNING!
Fill the engine oil and petrol only when the power generator is
switched off.
Never fill petrol and engine oil near open sources of light, fire or
sparks.
Do not allow the petrol or engine oil to flow over hot parts, e. g. the
engine or exhaust pipe.
• Never operate the drive unit without engine oil.
• Fill the power generator with engine oil before starting it.
• Be careful when filling the engine oil and petrol.
• Use a filling aid, e.g. a funnel suitable for engine oil or petrol.
• Have a cleaning cloth ready to wipe parts that have been soaked with engine
oil or petrol.
• Properly dispose of cleaning cloths soaked in engine oil or petrol, used oil and
residual amounts.
• Never fill too much engine oil and petrol.
• Remove engine oil or petrol accidently filled in excess, e.g. with a syringe (not
included). Overfilling with oil can damage the engine.
• The maximum capacity of the oil tank is 0.25 litres.
• The maximum capacity of the petrol tank is 4 litres.
