 WARNING

Only mount the device on a tripod that has been designed for the weight and 

dimensions of the device. 

See technical specifi cations.

Make sure that the tripod with the mounted device is safe against tipping over 

or slipping.

 NOTE

When using the horizontal camera mounting rail, be careful not to lose the  plastic 

adapter rings of the mounting screws (16). The adapter rings are not tightly 

connected to the screw and can therefore easily be lost. Without these adapter 

rings, the camera housing can not be secured to the L-shaped lamp holder!

7. Power supply

7.1. Operation by battery (Model 380 and 500)

1. Turn the power switch (8) off.

2. Insert a compatible battery in the battery mount (4) until it locks.

3. Set the power switch (8) to battery power status <BATTERY>.

4. The device is ready for use.

5. After using the light, please power it off.

6. Press and hold the battery lock (5) to release the battery.

7. Note that for operation of the model 500, two loaded batteries are required.

7.2. Operation with a power supply cable: (Model 380 und 500)

1. Turn the Power Switch (8) off.

2.  Plug the DC adapter provided into the round socket of the housing (9) and 

connect the plug of the power supply unit into the socket of your local power 

supply (AC 220-240V/50 Hz).

3. Set the power switch to cable power status <CABLE>.

4. The device is ready for use.

5. After using the light, please power it off.

 NOTE

Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of the 

device. Should the connection values not match, please contact [email protected].

 NOTE

Only connect the power supply unit to a grounded socket.

•  After use, disconnect the device from the local power supply by simply pulling out 

the mains plug.

•  For use with batteries: Insert the charged batteries on the back of the video lamp 

until they click into place in the battery compartment.  

•  Removing the batteries: Press the battery unlock button and pull the batteries out of 

the compartment. Remove the batteries after using the device. 

 NOTE

Only use batteries intended for the device – see technical specifi cations. After 

use remove the batteries from the battery compartment. 

8. Operating the device

8.1.  Switching the unit on/off

• Switch the device on via the on/off Switch (8).

• After using the device, switch it off via the on/off switch. 

 NOTE

The light shows no function when the batteries are not suffi ciently charged, the 

luminous intensity control is set to minimum or none of the four light sectors are 

activated.
