NOTE

tions of these instructions for use. Strictly follow the sequence of the following
activities during fi rst time use, to prevent damage to the device.

6. Preparing the devices for use
6.1. Model 21499 Walimex pro LED Ringlight 380 Bi Color RLL-380BV
1. Install the L shape light holder bra-
cket (3) with bracket adjustment knob
(6) on the light.
2. Install the light with the stand holder
(14) on a 1/4 or 3/8 inch thread on a
suitable lamp stand.
3. Install the camera onto the camera
bracket (3) and tighten with the
camera fi xing screw (2).
Instead of a camera, you can attach
your smartphone with the help of the ball
head and the smartphone holder. First secure the ball of
the ball head (16). Unscrew the fl ash shoe (17) from the
ball head. Attach the ball head to the camera mount (3). Screw the smartpho-
ne holder (15) onto the ball head. Check that it is securely in place. To tilt the
smartphone holder, loosen the rear screw, rotate it to the desired position and
tighten the screw again. Check that all parts are securely seated. Now carefully
insert your smartphone into the holder (17). The smart-
phone is held in place by spring tension. Do not release
the smartphone until it sits securely. Check again that it is
securely seated, as the smartphone could slip downwards,
especially when shooting in portrait format.
4. Check the secure fi xation of all screws.
5. The ringlight is ready for use.
6.2. Model 21500 Walimex pro LED Ringlight 500
Bi Color RLL-500BV
1. Install the L shape light holder bracket (3) with bracket
adjustment knob (6) on the light at the same height.
2. Put the remaining part of the horizontal camera rail (15)
into L shape bracket (3) and tighten the bracket fi xing
screws and adapter (16).
3. Install the camera onto the horizontal camera mounting
rail (15) and tighten with the camera fi xing screw (2).
Instead of a camera, you can attach your smartphone
with the help of the ball head and the smartphone
holder. First secure the ball of the ball head (16). Unscrew
the fl ash shoe (17) from the ball head. Attach the ball
head to the horizontal camera mounting rail (15). Screw the smartphone holder
(15) onto the ball head. Check that it is securely in place. To tilt the smartphone
holder, loosen the rear screw, rotate it to the desired position and tighten the
screw again. Check that all parts are securely seated. Now carefully insert your
smartphone into the holder (17). The smartphone is held in place by spring
tension. Do not release the smartphone until it sits securely. Check again that
it is securely seated, as the smartphone could slip downwards, especially when
shooting in portrait format.
4. Check the secure fi xation of all screws.
5. The ringlight is ready for use.
