operated by pressing the button at the rear cover next to the illuminated mains
switch. Press the soap prime button until soap begins to consistently dispense
from the basin nozzle.

Soap levels should be checked periodically depending on usage to maintain

efficient operation of the unit. The system should be washed through with
warm water periodically to remove any solidified soap within the tubing &
nozzle as follows: Remove the soap tube from the soap container, place the
free end of soap tube into a beaker or container of WARM water & using a
continuous press of Soap Prime button, flush WARM water through the
system.

11.4 Water Temperature & Flow

NOTE: Due to the anti-ligature design the basin area is relatively shallow. The
flow rate of water is therefore regulated to a low level to avoid water over
spilling the basin lip.

The hand wash water temperature is governed by the flow rate which is set by

a flow regulator built into the water system at a rate of 1.8LPM. This flow rate
may slightly vary due to the water supply pressure and tolerance of the
regulator.

Water temperature can also be affected by changes to the ambient

temperature of the incoming cold supply which may happen seasonally
depending on the nature of the water supply.

The cold water outlet if fitted is also fitted with a flow regulator (0.8LPM).

11.5 Maintenance

Wallgate operates a comprehensive spare parts service. Contact our service

department for all spare part & servicing requirements.

VENTED TYPE AND IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST THE WATER OUTLET
NOZZLE BE ALLOWED TO BECOME BLOCKED OR CONNECTED TO ANY PIPE
OR TAP.

The unit basin fascia must be cleaned with non-abrasive cleaners only, use

abrasive washbowl cleaners such as standard domestic cleaning products
dependent upon the level of soiling. Proprietary de-scaling agents may be
used to remove lime scale from the bowl, and the water nozzle.
