       Precautions

• 

Take special care when selecting the mounting surface. It must be able to adequately support the 

weight of the charger and withstand the mechanical forces associated to charger use.

• 

Take into account the weight when lifting or manipulating the package and the device.                              

Check the weight associated in the General specifications section of this document. 

• 

The power supply connection must comply with the standards and regulations for cabling and 

building infrastructure.

• 

The Wallbox charger must be permanently connected to the electrical earth of the installation. 

• 

Before installing or cleaning your Wallbox make sure that the power supply is switched off and 

there is no power in the system. After the power supply is switched off, dangerous high voltage 
will be present inside the  charger for at least ten minutes. 

• 

When the connector is attached to the vehicle, dangerous high voltage may be present inside the 

charger and at the connector cables, regardless the charger status, even when the power supply 
is disconnected.

• 

Always check that the power supply is off and no voltage is present at the electrical cables before 

manipulating it and when installing or mounting the devices.

• 

The charger must be installed in a sufficiently ventilated location to ensure it remains cool.

• 

Always bear in mind the operating temperatures of the device.

• 

It is recommended to avoid installation in areas where there is direct sunlight to prevent 

overheating and deterioration of the device.

• 

It’s required to use safety shoes during the installation.

• 

It’s required to use safety glasses when drilling.

• 

The charger usually generates heat. In order to evacuate this hot air, the area below an above the 

charger must be  free of any objects according to picture 0.1.

• 

Remove the power supply at least 30 minutes before unmounting the device. Be careful when 

touching its metal parts, it can be hot enough to cause injury.

• 

Maximum installation altitude 2000m.

• 

Do not install your Wallbox charger near:

Flammable, explosive, or combustible materials.

Chemicals or solvents.

Gas pipes or steam outlets.

Heat emitters such as radiators or batteries.

Areas prone to flooding, running water or humid environments.
