1. Standby:

 Switches On / Off the box

2. Favourites:

 Displays a list of favourite channels

3. Media browser: 

Opens  the  media  browsing

screen

4. Volume 

+/-

5. Swap: 

Quickly  cycles  between  previous  and

current  channels

6. Exit:

 Closes and exits from displayed menus or

returns to previous screen

7. Info:

 Pressing once opens the info banner. Press-

ing twice extends the info menu screen. Shows

hidden information in TXT mode (reveal)

8. OK:

 Confirms user selections, holds the page (in 

TXT mode), views channel list (DTV mode)

9. Record:

 Records programmes

10. Rapid reverse: 

Moves  frames  backwards  in

media such as movies

11. Text:

 Displays teletext (where available), press

again to superimpose the teletext over a normal

broadcast picture (mix)

12. Subtitles: 

Turns  subtitles  on  and  off  (where

available)

13. Coloured Buttons:

 Follow the on-screen instruc-

tions for coloured button functions

14. Language:

 Displays the audio and subtitle lan-

guage setup menu

Channel Network Type

16. Pause:

 Pauses the media being played, starts

timeshift recording

17. Rapid advance:

 Moves frames forward in media 

such as movies

18. Stop:

 Stops the media being played

19. Play: 

Starts to play selected media

20. Directional buttons:

  Helps  navigate  menus,

content etc. and displays the subpages in TXT

mode when pressed Right or Left

21. Back/Return:

 Returns to previous screen, opens 

index page (in TXT mode)

Displays set-top box menu

 Displays

the electronic programme guide
