8. Operating and using the device
8.1 Switching the device on / off
• Connect the power supply as described in the previous section 7
• Switch the device <ON> with the ON/OFF switch (16) on the device.
• The lamp is ready for use.

8.2 Setting brightness (dimmer function) on the device
• Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (16) (if not already done).
• Depending on the last selected functionality (the lamp has a memory function) the status
shows LED green (C), status LED red (D) or NONE of both status LEDs.
• If the red status LED (D) is on, the device is already in the brightness adjustment/dimming
mode.
•
If not, press the <DIMMER> push button (12) briefly to switch between the brightness, the
color temperature and the channel selection (see description above).
• Set the dimming mode, the red status LED (D) lights up.
• The selected light output is shown as a percentage value on the device display.
• Turn the <Dimmer> button (12) to set the desired brightness.
•
The brightness can be adjusted in steps of 1% from 10 to 99%.
• The brightness value is adjusted, saved and shown on the display immediately after turning
the selection knob.
•
By briefly pressing the <DIMMER> button (12) again, you can also save the set values and go
to the other operating modes.
8.3 Adjusting the color temperature on the device (for bi color models only)
• Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (16) (if not already done).
• Depending on the last selected functionality (the lamp has a memory function) the status
shows LED green (C), status LED red (D) or NONE of both status LEDs.
• If the green status LED (C) is on, the device is already in the color temperature adjustment
menu.
•
If not, press the <DIMMER> push button (12) briefly to switch between the brightness, the
color temperature and the channel selection (see description above).
• Select the function for adjusting the color temperature (green status LED <COLOR> (C) lights
up).
• The current set color temperature is shown shortened by two numbers in the display of the
lamp. For example, 32 means 3,200 Kelvin and 44 means 4,400 Kelvin.
• Turn the <COLOR> selection button (11) to set the desired color temperature.
• The color temperature can be set in steps of 100 Kelvin from 3,200 to 5,600 Kelvin
• The color temperature value is adjusted, saved and shown on the device display immediately
after turning the selection knob.

By briefly pressing the <DIMMER> button (12) again, you can also save the set values and go
to the other operating modes.
8.4 Setting the remote-control channel on the device
• Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (16) (if not already done).
• Depending on the last selected functionality (the lamp has a memory function) the status
shows LED green (C), status LED red (D) or NONE of both status LEDs.
• If NO status LEDs is on, the device is already in the channel selection menu.

If not, press the <DIMMER> button (12) briefly to switch between the brightness, the color
temperature and the channel selection (see description above).
• Set the channel selection mode, no status LEDs will shine.
• The set channel of the device is shown in the display.
•
Turn the <DIMMER> knob (12) to set the desired channel.
• Channels from 1 to 99 can be selected.
•
Turn the <DIMMER> knob (12) to set the desired channel.
• The selected channel is adjusted, saved and shown on the display immediately after turning
the selection knob.
•
By briefly pressing the <DIMMER> button (12) again, you can also save the set values and go
to the other operating modes.
