5. Positioning the standing
device
WARNING
Risk of injury due to the device tilting
or falling down.
A device tilting or falling down can cause
personal injury and material damage.
X Place the device on a level surface
so that it is stable.
X Do not
suspend any objects from
the device or place them on top of
the device.
X Lay the power cord in such a way
that the device cannot be pulled
down with it.
X Connect and operate the device
out of the reach of children.
X Connect and operate the device
out of the reach of persons who,
due to their limitations, are not
able to operate the device in a safe
and hazard-conscious manner.
WARNUNG
Lateral UV scattered radiation.
Staying too close to the sides of the
device for extended periods of time can
cause eye and skin damage.
X Position the device at a height of at
least 2.0 m or keep a distance of
0.3 m to both sides.
X Place the standing device in the highest
possible position in the room so that it
is not possible to look directly into the
interior of the device.
6. Connection
WARNING
Exposed electrical parts.
Danger due to electric shock.
X Do not connect the device to the
power supply until the device has
been completely assembled.
NOTICE
Property damage through incorrect
connection voltage.
Destruction of or damage to the lumi-
naire.

Compare mains voltage with the
nominal voltage and frequency
specified on the rating plate and
make sure they are identical.
X Plug the mains plug into a socket.
7. Operation
