Hard limit switches and passive runner
In order to avoid collisions each Track Runner will have a hard limit switch on both sides [
A
]. And when
it reaches the end of the track, the rod [
B
] will activate the on-board limit switch and the unit will stop
before it collides. In the same manner two or more units will activate the limits switches [
A
] through a
rod [
B
] before a collusion will appear.
Make sure to install all the rods and connect the limit switches needed for a specific installation to
make it run safely, see below illustration for guidance.
Each of the two end-stops [
E
] shall be firmly secured to the track and installed with a security bolt to
prevent any moving element to leave the track during normal operation. Also, the rod [
B
] shall be
mounted in the correct position depending on the left or right end of the track.
A
WARNING! Always
secure the track
end-stops at both
ends!

NOTE:

unit.
NOTE:
The unit
nearest the end of the
track may not need to
have a rod installed.
