Fieldbus-specific evaluation of the errors (wire break, short circuit) is channel by
channel via the status bits. The I/O module generates a generic code that the
fieldbus coupler/controller implements.
When sensor type NO (“Normally Open”, make contact) is enabled, the following
logic applies:
