The following functions can be executed:
Setting Counter:
If bit 5 is set in the control byte,
counter 1
is loaded with the 16-bit value from
output bytes 0 or 2. As long as the bit is set, the counter is stopped and the
loaded value is retained. Bit 5 in the status byte indicates that the counter has
successfully loaded.
If bit 4 is set in the control byte,
counter 2
is loaded with the 16-bit value from
output bytes 1 or 3. As long as the bit is set, the counter is stopped and the
loaded value is retained. Bit 4 in the status byte indicates that the counter has
successfully loaded.
Setting Outputs:
Control byte bits 2 and 3 set the digital outputs “DO 1” and “DO 2.”
