1. To avoid over-discharging your vehicle's battery, we recommend running
your engine for 10-20 minutes to recharge the vehicle’s battery after every
2-3 hours of operating the inverter.
2. If you choose to use on adapter to connect the inverter directly to your

battery terminals, it is important to connect the '+’ wire to the '+' terminal
and the ‘-‘ wire to the ‘-‘ terminal. IF YOU CONNECT THE WIRES TO
THE INCQRRECT TERMINALS, YOU WILL REVERSE THE
POLARITY AND DAMAGE THE INVERTER. REVERSED
POLARITY WILL INSTANLY VOID THE WARRANTY OF YOUR
INVERTER.

3. If you choose to operate a battery charger to replenish your battery's

voltage, be sure to disconnect the inverter first.  Failure to disconnect the
inverter prior to connecting a charger may result in on input spike which
will damage the inverter.
CONNECTING THE INVERTER'S INPUT TO BATTERY CHARGER
WILL VOID THE WARRANTY, AND MAY DAMAGE THE
INVERTER.

4

Make sure the battery’s voltage dose not exceed 15 volts DC.

CONNECTING THE INVERTER TO A DC POWER SOURCE
GREATER THAN 15 V DC WILL VOID THE WARRANTY, AND MAY
DAMAGE THE INVERTER.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

If the inverter does not appear to be functioning properly, there are several
reasons why the inverter may not be responding:

Problem

Solution

Poor contact

Clean contact parts thoroughly

Receptacle has no power

Check car fuse, replace damage
fuse. Check receptacle wiring.
Repair if necessary.

Fuse is blown

The fuse is located inside the DC
plug. Replace fuse with a fuse of
equivalent value.

Battery voltage is too low

Start the engine to recharge the
battery, replace battery if needed.

Shut down on overload

Reduce the wattage of your load to

lower than 120watt.

Thermal shutdown

Under heavy loads fear extended
periods of time, the inverter will
shutdown to prevent damage to
excess heat. Simply reduce your
load and allow the inverter to cool
down.

Law-battery shutdown

Recharge your battery and resume
operation. If you appear to have a
problem which is not listed above,
you may call our customer service
department at 510-490-9221.
