Only connect the device as follows:
– with the connection cable supplied (fig.
1
3, page 3) to the
230 V AC mains supply.
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to pre-
vent possible electrical hazards. Only replace a damaged cable
with one of the same type and specifications.
Disconnect the plug:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
On boats: if the appliance is powered by the mains, ensure that
the power supply has a residual current circuit breaker.
Danger
of fatal injuries!
Check that the voltage specification on the type plate is the
same as that of the power supply.

Operating the appliance safely

Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply cable
and the plug are dry.
Do not place any electrical devices inside the refrigerator.
Protect the device and the cable against rain and moisture.
Do not place it near naked flames or other heat sources
(heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
Caution – danger of overheating!
Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation so that heat
generated during normal operation can dissipate. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other
objects so that the air can circulate.
Never immerse the device in water.
Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
Danger of fatal injury!
Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands.
