Observe the following installation instructions:

Secure the GPS speed switch in such a way that it cannot become loose under any
circumstances (sudden braking, accidents) and cause
injuries to the occupants of
the vehicle
.
z
Do not attach the GPS speed switch in the airbag deployment path, as this could cause
injury if the airbag is triggered.
Observe the following instructions when working with electrical parts:
z
When testing the voltage in electrical cables, only use a diode test lamp (fig.
1
1,
page 3) or a voltmeter (fig.
1
2, page 3).
Test lamps with bulbs (fig.
1
3, page 3) consume excessive current and can damage
the vehicle's electronic system.
z
When making electrical connections (fig.
3
, page 3), ensure that:
– They are not kinked or twisted
– They do not rub on edges
– They are not laid in sharp-edged ducts without protection
z
Insulate all connections.
z
Protect the cables from mechanical wear (for example rubbing against existing cables)
using cable binders or insulating tape.
Observe the following instructions when handling the GPS speed switch:
z
Do not open the device.
z
Never submerge the device in water; it is not watertight.
z
Do not operate the device if the housing has been damaged.
z
Connect it to the correct voltage.

Intended use
The GPS300 GPS speed switch (item no. 9102200010) is a device which is designed for

The GPS300 GPS speed switch is a device which can automatically switch a front or rear
video system on and off. It can be fastened to the dashboard.
