Inverter (only for the CB-1200-AC/DC)
The CB-WS-300 inverter is only included in the scope of delivery for the
EC-1200-AC/DC device.
8.1
General safety and installation instructions
The following safety measures must be observed while installing and using
the inverter to prevent:
Electric shock
Fire hazard
Injury
Irreparable damage to the device
The inverter may only be used for the purpose specified by the
manufacturer!
The device must be switched off when working on the inverter. All lines
to the 230 V mains and 12 V battery must be disconnected.
The inverter may only be operated if the device and all electrical cables
are undamaged.
The device must be installed in such a manner that it cannot fall down,
tip over or move while the vehicle is in motion. Fasten the device and
install the cables accordingly.
The installation must be performed in such a way that children cannot
access it.
The inverter may not be operated in a damp or wet environment.
Explosive environments must also be avoided.
Ensure good ventilation. The inverter generates heat which must be
dissipated appropriately.
The 12 V connection cables are designed for high levels of current. It is not
advisable to modify the cable; if needed, have this done by an electrician.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualified
personnel who are familiar with the risks involved and the relevant
regulations.
