6.1
Selecting the weight unit
The refrigerant unit has three weight units: kilograms (kg), ounces (oz) and
pounds (lb).

Press the “Function” button (fig.
, page 4) several times in order to
select the weight unit required.
6.2
Switching on the backlight
The backlight switches off automatically after 30 minutes without a button
being pressed.

Press the “Light” button (fig.
, page 4) to switch the backlight of the
display on or off.
NOTICE!
Ensure that the maximum capacity of the scale is not
exceeded as this may damage the device.
The maximum inlet pressure shall not exceed 30 bar.
NOTE
The scale can be set up in the case as well as outside the
case. The scale must be on a flat surface and must not
touch the connection cable as this may otherwise affect the
precision.
Place the refrigerant bottle at the center of the scale and
ensure that you do not shake the refrigerant beforehand.
Cover the “Input” and “Output” connections with the safety
caps prior to each use.
Switch off the device after every use. Remove the batteries if
the device is to be stored or will not be used for an extended
period.
