Control panel lists and tabs:
The control panel T
ABLET
, T
OOL
, and A
PPLICATION
lists allow you to select the
tablet, tool, or application for which you want to change settings. To change tool settings, open the control
panel and either choose tablet F
UNCTIONS
or the tool you want to customize. See customizing the pen and
customizing the tablet functions for more information.
Note:
The control panel A
PPLICATION
list is for advanced users; it is not necessary to select or add
applications in order to customize your Cintiq input tool(s).

The T
ABLET
list displays an icon for any
supported tablet that has been installed on
your system. All settings shown below this
list apply to the selected tablet.
The T
OOL
list displays an icon for the tablet
F
UNCTIONS
, and for each Cintiq input tool
that has been used on the tablet.
When a tool is first used on the tablet it is
automatically added to the tool list.

A newly added tool will function with the
default settings.
•
If a similar tool was previously added,
the new tool will inherit the settings of
the previously added tool. These
settings can then be customized for the
newly added tool.

list lets you define tool
settings that only apply to a specific
application. See working with application-
