Fasten the power winch to the mast

Tighten the screws to a torque of 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).

Wind the winch cable around the power winch drum once.

Loosen the nut

on the winch cable retainer

and insert the free
end of the winch cable through the winch cable retainer so approxi-
mately 2.5 cm (1 in.) of winch cable extends beyond the winch cable
retainer as shown in the illustration.
