Soil properties
The maximum dumping height depends on several factors of the soil properties, such as moisture,
particle-size, etc.
It is therefore not possible to provide an exact specification for this value.
Recommendation:
In each case, determine the maximum dumping height through compaction tests
and soil samples.
Vibrating sett paving (paving stones)
When compacting interlocking paving stones, Wacker Neuson recommends the application of the sliding
mechanism in order to avoid damage to the machine and compaction material. See chapter
Accessories
.
Exciter adjusting knob
Only actuate the exciter-adjusting knob at a standstill.
Pull out the exciter adjusting knob: For normal compaction and cohesive types of soils, large
oscillation amplitude with a high centrifugal force.
Push in the exciter adjusting knob: For blacktop and interlocking paving stones, small oscillation
amplitude with reduced centrifugal force.
8.3
Commission
1. Move the throttle lever to idling.
2. Slowly pull the handle with the rope of the engine until a slight resistance is felt.
3. Allow the rope to return so as to be able to use the entire rope length for the starting process.
4. Grab the handle with both hands.
5. Powerfully pull the starter rope with steadily increasing acceleration (do not pull in a jerky motion) until
the engine starts.
NOTE
It should be noted that with a reduced forward travel speed (despite the associated
reduced centrifugal force), the compacting action remains virtually unchanged due to a
corresponding increased number of single strokes, since the revolutions per minute
(RPM) of the exciter is also constant with a reduced travel speed.
DANGER
Fire hazard
Jumpstart sprays are highly flammable. These may ignite and cause serious burns.
Do not use any jumpstart sprays.
