5.9 Air Cleaner

To service:
5.9.1 Unlock clamps (d) and remove cover (c) .
5.9.2 Remove cartridge (b) from air cleaner body (a) .
Clean by gently tapping cartridge. (Replace cartridge if very dirty or
damaged.)
5.9.3 Carefully clean out air cleaner cover (c) .
NEVER use gasoline or other types of low flash point solvents for
cleaning the air cleaner. A fire of explosion could result.
5.9.4 Install cartridge in body
5.9.5 Install cover and lock clamps.
NOTICE : NEVER run engine without air cleaner. Severe engine
damage will occur.
