Maintenance
Protect the meter from adverse weather. The meter is not
waterproof. Do not adjust the LCD screen for prolonged
periods in direct sunlight.
Note: To prevent damage to the meter, the
meter should not be exposed to sprays,
liquids, or solvents.
Clean the exterior of the meter with a lintfree
cloth. To prevent the plastic LCD screen from
scratching use a soft damp cloth or paper
towel. A 75% isopropyl alcohol may be used
in order to clean the meter properly.
To prevent damage to the surface of the
meter, do not use abrasives or chemical
cleaners to clean the surface.
Battery replacement
When the battery symbol starts flashing, the battery
should be replaced.
Remove the test leads from the circuit being

measured and turn off the meter

Insert a new battery after you have removed the

Place the battery cover back on the bottom of the

housing with the screw, which has been described
in step 3
