4.1
Installation of Meritor Tire Inflation System
1. Wear safe eye protection.
2. Park the vehicle on a level surface. Block the wheels to prevent the vehicle from moving.
3.
Raise the vehicle so that the wheels to be serviced are off the ground. Support the axle to be serviced
with safety stands.
4.
Install the MTIS control box with the WABCO MTIS pigtail cable (part number xxxxxxxxMW). The “MW”
at the end of the MTIS part number signifies the pigtail cable is pre-installed into the control box.
