While operating the Delta Plow in the field, the wings will need to be held down to prevent the wing
from riding up. In order to work properly, the wings need to be leveled according to the leveling
procedure on page 26.
DELTA PLOW HYDRAULIC WING DOWN FORCE OPERATION:
FIELD OPERATION - WING DOWN PRESSURE
1. Unfold the wings of the Delta Plow
2. Once unfolded, engage the SCV of the tractor with the flow set very low in the direction
of unfolding. This will allow the cylinders to keep pushing the wings down and prevent the
wings from riding up.
OPERATION
Pressure Flow
• Recommended remote valve flow should be set at 10%-20% of
maximum flow.
• If wings are not staying level, increase the flow in 5% increments until
operating correctly. Do not exceed 40% flow.
