 Defrosting

All models are equipped with a special defrosting program

(Figure  30)

.  It appears on the list of programs

available in the main screen after pressing the button

.

Defrosting consists in temporarily turning on the heaters, whose aim is to defrost the coating of ice or frost

on  the  chamber  walls  during  normal  use.  Then  the  chamber  is  heated  to  about

30°C and  maintained  for

30 minutes.

If the defrosting function is active, you will see the following icon

 on the main screen.

 Corrections

In this window

(Figure 31)

 you can set temperature correction:

The temperature indicated on the display by adding the correction value. The set correction value is

taken in the whole temperature range operation of the device. For example, if the average tempera-

ture displayed by the device indicates 20,0

°C and the average temperature measured by independ-

ent, external sensor indicates 2

0,5°C, the correction should be set on +0,5°C. The average temper-

ature should be calculated from chosen period of time e.g. 30 min. The correction range is between

-

5°C to +5°C.

After defrosting has finished, you need to wipe out the chamber. This will reduce the risk of quick

frosting of the chamber.

The  device has been calibrated by the manufacturer  in  accordance with applicable norms.  The

temperature shown on the  display corresponds with a great accuracy to the temperature in the

Figure 30
