Terms of warranty
1. According to this warranty, VTS Polska Sp. z o.o., having its registered of
fi
ce in Warszawa, at the following address: Al. Sikorskiego 11, 02-758 Warszawa [hereinafter referred to as VTS], guarantees a
failure-free operation of the equipment sold by VTS and installed within the area of: the countries of the European Union and Russian Federation, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, and delivered together with
a valid Warranty Card, within the period speci
fi
ed in par. “Warranty Period”, item 1.
2. The terms of warranty are coming in force from the moment of having completed the purchase of the device
Warranty period
1. The warranty concerning the FIGHTER device, hereinafter referred to as device, including the complete set of automation equipment, is valid for the period of 2 years, from the date of having
purchased the equipment by the User.
2. The date of purchase is considered to be the date of issuing a VAT invoice, which documents the purchase of the device by the User, from VTS Polska or a distributor of VTS Polska.
3. When submitting a complaint, the User is obliged to present a copy of the VAT invoice, which documents the purchase of the faulty device and the guarantee card –
fi
lled in and stamped.
Scope of warranty
1. Warranty services do not interrupt nor suspend the warranty period. The warranty for the replaced or repaired parts of the device expires together with the expiration of the warranty for the entire
device.
2. VTS Polska shall not be responsible on other legal basis than warranty, in the case of faulty products.
3. In order to make the waranty service, the User is obliged to deliver the faulty device to VTS Plant, Dubowo II 32, 16-400 Suwa
ł
ki, Poland.
4. VTS Polska reserves the right to examine and repair the device within 14 working days of receipt of the faulty unit.
If the defect is not sustainable and its determination requires a longer diagnosis VTS Poland reserves the right to extend the deadline for consideration of the warranty given in point 4 for the time
period necessary to consider the warranty. Before the end of the 14th day after delivery to VTS Poland the faulty device, VTS Poland will notify the User about extended period of consideration of the
complaint.
Warranty does not cover
1. The faults resulting from reasons other than related to the equipment itself.
2. The damage to the device that resulted from the impact of the surrounding, improper transport or storage.
3. Mechanical defects, resulting from improper control and use of the device, which contradicts the technical documentation of the device, as well as repairs and maintenance, carried out by unauthorised
personnel.
4. The equipment that has been installed or activated in a manner that violated the enclosed technical documentation, or by personnel without appropriate quali
fi
cations.
5. The equipment that has been modi
fi
ed, subjected to a modi
fi
cation of working parameters, repair or replacement of parts, without written consent of VTS Polska.
6. Defects or faults of the device that do not affect the functionality and proper operation of the device, such as: local discoloration, scratches etc.
7. Parts of the device subject to normal maintenance.
8. Defects caused by inconsistent with the recommendations in the technical documentation of physical and electrical effects, overheating, moisture or environmental conditions, dampness, corrosion,
oxidation, damage or
fl
uctuations in electrical voltage, lightning,
fi
re or other force majeure causes destruction or damage.
9. Damage caused by installation of equipment in breach of the technical documentation or the completion of the installation in breach of art.
VTS Polska is not responsible for:
1. On-going maintenance, inspections and programming of equipment.
2. Damage caused by standstills of equipment, while waiting for warranty services.
3. All damage pertaining to User’s property, other than the equipment in question.
Complaints
1. Complaints are to be reported to VTS Polska via e-mail ([email protected]), or fax. (+48) 12 296 50 75 or by the means of the form of Warranty service available on-line on: www.vtsgroup.com.
2. Correctly submitted complaint should have the following information:
- Type and factory number of the device;
- Date of device purchase;
- Date and place of device installation;
- Name the Seller’s company and the company that installed the device;
- Contact information to the person responsible for the complaint;
- Detailed description of the defect (in particular, description of the faulty operation, names of defective parts);
- Copies of the correctly
fi
lled warranty card; date of sale (4); serial number of the device, same as the number on the rating plate (2); stamp of the company that installed the device (1).
3. Should the User refer to the damage in
fl
icted to the equipment in transport, a complete device, placed in the original protective packaging, is to be delivered to the place of repair, as appointed by VTS.
The factory number of the device must be the same as the number on the original packaging and Warranty Card.
4. VTS Polska shall inform the User about the refusal or acceptance of the complaint, within 7 working days from the date of having received the correctly
fi
lled Complaint Report Protocol.
Warranty services
1. Defective equipment or its parts, which have been replaced, as part of a warranty service, become the property of VTS Polska.
2. All the costs borne by VTS Polska, resulting from an unfounded complaint, are incurred to the User who submitted the complaint. These costs are calculated for, based on the binding pricelist of VTS
Polska. Additionally, User is obliged, within 30 days of being informed of unfounded complaint, to take the equipment at their own expense from the designated location. After crossing the date, the
device will be scrapped. Costs arising from the disposal of the device will be covered by the Customer that submitted the complaint.
3. If the complaint is founder, VTS Polska will dispatch the device on its cost to the location designated by the Customer.
4. VTS has the right to refuse the carrying out of a warranty service, if the company has not received the entire payment for the device subject to complaint, or a warranty service previously rendered.
5. The User that submits the complaint is obliged to cooperate with VTS Polska, during the period of rendering the warranty service:
6. In particular, the User is obliged to:
- provided the faulty device to the place indicated by VTS Polska,
- provide the original Warranty Card of the device and the VAT invoice that documents the purchase of the device;

rm the rendering of a warranty service, in writing.
