Message playback
If you have new messages, the telephone
plays only the new messages (oldest
first). If there are no new messages,
the telephone plays back all messages
(oldest first). If there are both new and old
messages, you have the options of playing
the new or old messages.
When playback begins, you hear the total
number of messages followed by the date
and time of the message. After the last
message, the telephone announces, “
End
of messages.
”

more details.
To playback messages with the
cordless handset:
1. When the handset is not in use, press
MENU
twice to choose
Play messages
.
2. If you have only new or old messages,
the messages play automatically.

to scroll to
Play new msgs
or
Play old msgs
, then
press
SELECT
.
Options during playback:
• Slide the
VOL
control to adjust the
listening volume.
• Press
to switch between the
speakerphone and the handset
earpiece.

to repeat the playing message.

twice to listen to the previous
message.

DELETE
to delete the playing
message. The handset announces,
“
Message deleted,
” and then advances
to the next message.

to call back the caller. The
handset displays

to confirm or press
OFF
to
cancel.

SELECT
to pause the playback and
view the caller’s information. Then you
can press
TALK
or
to call back.
To playback messages at the
telephone base:
• Press
when the phone is not in use.
When you have no message in the
answering system, the telephone base
announces, “
You have no message.
”
