Call screening
If the answering system and call screening
are on, the announcement and the
incoming message broadcast at the
telephone base while the call is answered
by the answering system.
Options while a message is being
recorded:
• Press
VOL
or
VOL
to adjust the
listening volume.
• Press
to temporarily turn off the call
screening.
• Press
or
VOL
to temporarily turn
on the call screening if it is set to off.
Call intercept
If you want to talk to the person whose
message is being recorded, press
TALK
on the handset.
Record, play or delete memos
Memos are your own recorded messages
used as reminders for yourself or others
using the same answering system. You can
record your own memos using a system
handset. Playback and delete them in the
same way as incoming messages.

system memory is full, the system
announces, “Memory is full.”
• Each memo can be up to three minutes in
length. Memos shorter than two second are
not recorded.
• When the answering system has less than
three minutes of recording time left, the
handset announces, “Less than three minutes
to record,” and displays
