Troubleshooting (continued)
My parent unit does not play any sound when there is
noise from the baby unit.
Make sure the parent unt s powered up by connectng t to AC
power (page
(page ) or to the rechargeable battery pack provded
(page 6).
Make sure the power adapter and the parent unt are plugged n
correctly and securely (page
(page )..
Make sure the parent unt s turned on (24) and the speaker volume
s not set to off (page 24).
The parent unt may be too far away from the baby unt. Move the
parent unt closer to the baby unt (but not less than 1 metre).
If the parent unt s powered by the provded battery pack, make
sure there s suffcent charge. Charge the battery n the parent unt
for up to 3 hours.
You may have set the senstvty level to a very low level. If you do
so, the baby unt wll not detect sounds that s too soft or lght. You
may need to adjust the senstvty level to a hgher level (pages 26
and 27).
Large obstructons may mpact the recepton. Try to relocate the
baby unt, away from large obstructons such as walls and doors.
Remove and nstall the battery agan. Turn on the baby unt and the
parent unt. Allow up to one mnute for the parent unt and the baby
unt to synchronze.
Other electronc products may cause nterference wth your vdeo
and audo montor. Try nstallng your vdeo and audo montor as
far away from these electronc devces as possble: wreless routers,
rados, cellular telephones, ntercoms, room montors, televsons,
personal computers, ktchen applances and cordless telephones.
The
light flashes on the parent unit.
Charge the battery n the parent unt for up to 3 hours.
Completely remove and nstall the battery agan and use t untl fully
depleted, then recharge the battery n the parent unt for up to 3
hours.
If the above measures do not correct the problem, replace the
battery.
