Range extender setup (for multi handset packs)
To ind the best location for the Range Extender, you
need to determine the telephone base coverage area.
Stand near the telephone base and make a call.
Walk away from the telephone base with the handset.
Make a note where the signal becomes weaker.
Note:
The optimum location for the Range Extender is
as far from the telephone base as possible while still
maintaining a “good” signal, or just inside the location
where the signal became weaker.
To install the Range Extender:
Plug the mains power cable into the Range Extender
in its inal location, plug the other end into the mains
power wall socket and switch the power on.
Hold the Range Extender in the place where you plan
to place it. The blue light on
should remain on
and steady, indicating that the Range Extender has a
good signal from the telephone base.
