Setting Up the VST SuperDisk Software

Before using your new VST SuperDisk for PowerBook, it is necessary to
install driver software to allow the drive to interact properly with your
PowerBook.  The Tools software adds functionality to the drive while
extending its features and making it easier to use. Follow the instructions
below to ensure that the software installs properly.

Note:  You will need to restart your PowerBook during the

installation process, so be sure to quit all open
applications and save all files.

1.

Insert the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive into the expansion bay of your
PowerBook.

2.

Insert the VST SuperDisk Drive Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.

3.

Double click on the SuperDisk Installer and follow the directions.

4.

Restart your PowerBook.

5.

For PowerBooks with only one available expansion bay, remove the
CD from the CD-ROM drive and then remove the CD-ROM drive.

6.

Insert the VST SuperDisk Drive into the expansion bay.

7.

Insert a SuperDisk or floppy diskette into the drive. The diskette
icon should appear on your Desktop within a few seconds.
