The battery takes longer than 4.5 hours to charge
Possible Cause: Electricity source may not be full power.
Solution:
It is recommended to charge the curler overnight before
first use using the USB charging cable and adaptor supplied. Charge
times will vary depending on type of adapter and power source
being used. Charging with a laptop will take longer than using a
USB plug adapter in a power outlet. When the USB charging cable
is plugged in, the battery light in the display should illuminate,
indicating the battery is charging. If not, check to make sure it is
properly plugged in at both the power source and the unit.
My curler doesn’t work. It won’t heat up
Possible Cause:
The curler might not be fully charged.
Solution: Make sure the curler is fully charged overnight before you
use it for the first time. After a full discharge, it should take another
4.5 hours to fully recharge. When the curler is fully charged, the
battery indicator icon will stop flashing and there should be 4 bars
displayed.
The appliance should be recharged for 4.5 hours approximately
every 3 months. Even though the appliance may not be used for an
extended period of time if in storage, it should be recharged every 3
months for approximately 4.5 hours to preserve the battery life. Do
not leave lithium-ion batteries unused for extended periods of time.
My curler doesn’t work when plugged in
Possible Cause: When the curler is charging, other functions are
turned off.
Solution: The Unbound Cordless Auto Curler is not cord/cordless,
which means that it cannot be used while it is charging. It is designed
so that it will not operate while it’s charging. Once it is fully charged
again, unplug it to resume cordless operation.
