TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
The LED screen display
shows “HI” or “LO”.
The adapter used is not
suitable to charge The Beard
Designer.
Check that you are using the adapter supplied with The
Beard Designer to charge.
The LED screen display
shows “ER”.
A malfunction has occurred
while charging The Beard
Designer.
Remove the appliance from its stand for an hour.
If the problem continues, contact the Conair customer
service team.
The LED display screen
shows the flashing Cleaning
symbol
when you press
the button.
The Beard Designer has not
been cleaned after 15 minutes
of continuous use.
Press the Cleaning button and clean The Beard
Designer as described at ‘SMART CLEANING SYSTEM’.
The Beard Designer head
does not unclip after having
pressed the Cleaning button
or Parking button .
The automatic head-raising
mechanism of The Beard
Designer activated by the
Cleaning button or Parking
button is blocked by hair
and impurities.
You can lift the head manually using 2 fingers to press
simultaneously on the notches on the front and back of
the appliance.
Then press the Cleaning button and place The Beard
Designer head under running water as described at
‘SMART CLEANING SYSTEM’, or the Parking button to
store your Beard Designer correctly.
The Beard Designer head
lifts up during use and the
motor stops.
The Cleaning or Parking
button has been pressed
accidentally during use.
Press the Cleaning or Parking button so that The
Beard Designer returns to the desired position.
Note: if The Beard Designer head has become unclipped,
clip it in again.
