3.  Gently tap the shaver head on a flat surface to remove any

loose hair particles, and rinse the shaver head under warm
water (Diagram J). Never submerge your
shaver under water.

4.  Thoroughly clean the cutter and trimmer

with a brush (Diagram J).

5.  Never use the cleaning brush on the foils,

as damage may occur.

6.  Shake off any excess water.
7.  Leave the shave unit open to allow the

shaver to  dry completely.

8.  Lubricate the shaver with a spray of

Remington® Shaver Saver (SP4) on the
foil and cutters.

9.  Replace the head assembly, simply by

pushing it on the shaver.

Cover shaver head with the protective head guard between
uses. When removing the head guard or placing it back onto
the shaver, do not apply pressure to the floating cutter
surfaces, as you may damage them.

Lubricate

Remington® Shaver Saver (SP-4) lubricates, cleans and
protects your shaver’s foil and cutter assembly. The lubricant
helps remove hair clippings while reducing wear. Spray on the
foil and cutters after each shave to keep your shaver operating
at peak performance.

Cleaning Cautions
•  Never submerge the shaver completely into water.
•  Never clean the shaver or replace the cutters while it is

plugged into an electrical outlet.

•  Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, as this may

damage the shaver.

Replacing Your Heads & Cutters

It is very important to replace your foils and cutters when

necessary to ensure a close, comfortable shave without

I

J

irritation. We recommend they be replaced every 6 months for

optimal performance. Here are some signs of head and cutter

wear, indicating that replacement is needed.

Signs that your foils and cutters need replacing:

•  Irritation: As foils get worn, you may experience skin irritation.

As the foils become excessively worn you may experience

some skin irritation or redness.

•  Pulling: As the cutters wear, your shave may not feel as close

and you may feel your cutter pulling your hair.

•  Wear through: You may notice that the cutters have worn

through the foils.

TO REPLACE THE FOIL

•  Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket.

•  Insert new foil assembly in hair pocket until it snaps in place.

TO REPLACE THE CUTTERS

•  Grasp cutter between thumb and fore finger and pull upward.

•  Snap both new cutter assemblies into top of oscillator tips.

STORAGE

When not in use, always unplug the power adaptor from the

power outlet. Never wrap the cord of the power adaptor

around the unit as this will cause the cord to wear prematurely

and break. Handle the cord carefully for long life and avoid

jerking, twisting or straining especially at the power plug. If the

cord becomes twisted in use, periodically straighten it.
